Singer-songwriter Passion Mango (a.k.a. Connor Wilkinson) has just dropped his latest single, “Lake,” and it’s available now on all streaming platforms.

Returning to a world soaked in melancholia, the familiar, potent sound of grief and naked truth rings loudly in the atmosphere of this new track. “Lake” carries forward the eclectic musical torch set forth from his previous critically acclaimed record, Clean Slate. If the isolation we’ve all felt has been a heavy burden, this song offers a palpable experience we can relate to—a journey where, perhaps, we’ll feel a little less alone after listening.

Hailing from rainy Vancouver, Passion Mango’s sound blends themes of deep disillusionment with the optimistic, enduring hope of love, creating that signature dreamy-in-the-feels music that takes you on an emotional rollercoaster. With a discography that can make you cry during one song and dance during the next, Passion Mango first emerged in 2022 with his debut album, Honeymoon Phase, and truly accelerated into the public zeitgeist in late 2023 when his song “Boy” went viral on TikTok, amassing an incredible nine million streams. Following up his self-titled album in March 2024 and his newest LP, Clean Slate, in June 2025, “Lake” is the latest essential chapter in Wilkinson’s evolving artistic story.
