Having faced a challenging early life, Nick focuses his energy on sharing stories of past trauma and depression. He recounts his journey beyond suicidal thoughts and into a better life that he has diligently worked to create through personal growth. To raise awareness about mental health issues and convey the message that no one is alone in their struggles, his creations go beyond the realms of pain, acceptance, and healing, offering a unique auditory experience that is both dark and symphonic, with a distinctive vibe that stands apart.

To the more in your face songs like “Alien” and “Lego” to the softer side of your tracks with “Thoughts Of Us” and “Chemistry,” there is a track for everyone to enjoy.

In 2024, you garnered interest from the Grammy-nominated executive producer Roy Hamilton III (Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber) after Roy heard the song “Thoughts Of Us,” which ultimately led him to work with you to hone your craft and skills in the music industry through Roy’s mentorship, which also led to the collaboration of the track “Deja Vu,” which Roy helped executive produce.

With a different sound, the sky is the limit for you, as you continue to spread your message of self-love and against hate.

Can you share your experiences that motivated you to pursue a career in music?

Being someone that has struggled a lot to find happiness, making music became therapy for me, an outlet for my emotions. And with time,  I really felt that the more music I was making, the happier I became. And growing up I had a lot of artists  that I looked up to and that I could relate to when I was going through some of my rough times. I knew the power that music had. So I wanted to fuse my message of growth, self love and acceptance with my music with the hope of inspiring the next generation in a positive way with a new style of music to call my own. And from there the dream came alive.

Who are some of your biggest musical influences, and how have they shaped your sound and style?

Growing up I was a huge fan of System of a Down. They had a style that was extremely unique,  and I used to want to sing like them, I remember singing all day to their albums! So ,they definitely play a huge role in my style. Then growing up in high school, when I was bullied, I turned to Kid Cudi’s music which really helped me mentally, but also shaped my style with how I utilize my voice in songs as well. Oh, and a little bit of Frank Ocean influence in there as well!

What does your typical songwriting process look like? Do you have routines that help you get into the creative zone?

I usually like to be in a quiet setting.I work best in my solitude, and I usually compose a beat depending on the mood I feel. Then from there, I usually write about a topic that im living through in my life that fits that beat and emotion and blend in some storytelling and imagery and all that good stuff!

And I like to keep my state of mind fresh and healthy, so for me, daily meditation is key, I find it helps me stay grounded with my emotions. But also, working out is a huge part of my life, it teaches a lot of important things in life such as discipline, so for me those two things are something I use to help my mind and to have my creative juices flowing!

What are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced in your music career, and how have you overcome them?

I would say marketing yourself! To treat yourself as a brand is very different, but I have learnt a lot and am still working on becoming better and it’s going extremely well!

How do you engage with your fans, and what role do they play in your music-making process?

I love engaging with my fans on social media! And I plan to do it as long as I can, since I want to be that artist that people can approach as if it was just another friend! I’ve always had the mentality and approach to treat people the way I want to be treated, to respect everybody no matter who, cause we all deserve kindness!

And they play one of the most important roles actually! Im always thinking about how I can relate to my fans when I’m making my music, cause I want my fans to know that I am human too and that I have bad days, and emotions that they can relate to. The artist/listener connection on emotions is so important in music!

What are your long-term goals as an artist? Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

To keep spreading my message across the globe, and to become the best artist I can be, to strive everyday to be better.  To also collaborate with a lot of artists! There’s so many talented people out there! So im really looking to expand on the collabs.

And,  I see myself playing in festivals, live shows and having collaborated with a lot of great artists!

How has your music evolved over the years, and what personal experiences have influenced that growth?

It’s evolved with my mental maturity, the more I grow and learn and become better with myself , so does my music. And,  with the challenges I face on a daily, I learn more about my emotions, and having a better understanding of them allows me to translate it better in my music.  I’m always looking to learn more in life and to grow.

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians who are just starting out in the industry?

First and foremost be yourself!! You are unique and people are attracted to that. Authenticity is what thrives in the music industry! People love real stories, real pain, so they can have emotions that they can relate to with the artist. Oh and patience, that’s something that’s also extremely important! Im still learning with that! Haha!

When you’re not making music, what do you enjoy doing? How do those interests influence your artistry?

I enjoy sports a lot! Growing up I played a lot of baseball , so I enjoy playing on my own time.  Working out as well, I like to keep an active lifestyle when im not making music!

And sports do teach you a lot about working as a team, and as an artist I think it’s very important to surround yourself with the right team. People that share the same vision. So, I can definitely say it’s influenced in how I approach the industry! And working out inspires me to reach goals and to remind myself that anything is possible if you put your mind to it and in the right space.

How have fans responded to “Deja Vu” so far? Have you received any feedback that particularly resonated with you?

The reception so far has been incredible! Im extremely happy people are enjoying it! And, one that really stood out was how I really pictured an image in the listeners head with my lyrics and that they really could relate since they just went through heartbreak! Comments like that literally make my day!
