What first got you into music?
Dancing & singing to pop artists as a child, & when I learned you can get paid for it, I said, “What a wonderful world!”
What’s the best show you’ve ever played?
The most fun was the highball where we’re having the album release.
Is there a city or venue that holds special significance to you, and can you share a memorable experience from there?
My EP release was at Plaza in Colombia, and the owner did a great job with screen visuals, etc., that made it a very special & successful release show.
How do you handle the pressures of performance, and have your strategies evolved over time?
I’ve let go of “perfection” and laugh at things because, hey, it’s live!
Do you have any rituals before you hit the stage? If so, what are they?
I eat & drink what’s best for singing, use a humidifier, rest & pray.
