Claire is thrilled to release her powerful new single, “I Won’t Give Up.” Born from a place of personal loss, the track serves as a soaring mantra of determination.

“I wrote ‘I Won’t Give Up’ as a mantra of determination through hardship after losing someone very special to me,” Claire shares. “It feels right to be releasing it now before the holidays when life can feel extra heavy.”

The song carries the same raw, haunting heart as her fan-favorite track “Ashes,” offering a musical embrace to anyone navigating their own “hard moments.” Whether she’s crafting upbeat dance tracks or introspective ballads, Guerreso’s ability to impart depth remains her greatest strength—and “I Won’t Give Up” is perhaps her most poignant reminder of that resilience yet.

What do you love most about being an artist?

The freedom of expression and connection. My artistic style has grown and changed over the years as I also grow as a person. It’s an expansive feeling to be able to experience life and write about it in a way that has the potential to positivley influence others. I am so thankful to my fans and the people who reach out to tell me how my music has helped them through a difficult time of their life. It means the world to me that my music can be a bright spot in someones day.

Who would be your dream artist to collaborate with, and why?

I would love to collaborate with Tyler, The Creator. His music is raw, honest, and wildly unique. He fuses unexpected elements in to his music that create an inspiring sound. That would be my dream collab.

How did the pandemic impact your approach to music and performing?

The pandemic changed how people wrote songs together by opening the door to virtual writes with other creatives around the world. I did write virtually before the pandemic, but a lot of writers, producers, and artists hadn’t. It was nice to be able to connect with people in other places from the comfort of my studio. My last show was a month before everything shut down. I have been able to really dive into writing more since then.

What’s the core message you hope fans take away from your music?

I write a lot about hardship and overcoming challenges. There is a lot of pain and suffering in the world, and I hope my fans find comfort in my music from whatever they may be facing. My new song ”I Won’t Give Up” is about determination and finding your inner strength to get through adversity. I think about people going into the holiday season and how it’s not always a positive experience for some. I’ll be singing this to myself during tough moments.

Do you have any upcoming releases, videos, or shows fans should know about?

Yes! My song “I Won’t Give Up” comes out today, December 19th, 2025. I am excited to share it with everyone. Hopefully it will resonate with people, especially at this time of year, which can be challenging for a number of reasons. I think about the chronic illness community, people who have lost loved ones, or those who have strained relationships with family, and how the holiday season can be very isolating and hit different for some. This song is a mantra to remind people of their own inner strength.

Do you enjoy the technical side of recording and producing music?

Yes, I do. I am often involved in the creative process for production as well as the mixing process for my music. I love working with amazing producers and my mixing engineer, who bring their creativity and passion to each song. I enjoy using the technical side of my brain when diving into the recording process.

Do you plan your releases ahead of time, or do you prefer to drop new music when it feels right?

A lot of my music is used in visual media like television shows, advertisements, and movies. Sometimes I release songs along with their synch use, but recently I have also been releasing music when it feels right with more personal intent. Stay tuned for more new music in 2026!

Do you have a hidden talent or party trick most people don’t know about?

My party trick is that I can tie a cherry stem in a knot with my tongue.  My hidden talent is that I can spin a staff and do tricks with it.

Are you more of a cat person, dog person, or both?

I love all animals! My cat is 18 years old, and my dog is 3 years old. They both have distinct personalities that are equally as wonderful. It would be hard for me to choose between cats and dogs because they’re so different and also both my favorites.

If you were a crayon color, what would your name be?

Emerald Forest or Midnight Mystery. Maybe a deep green or blue.

Which fictional character do you wish existed in real life?

Edna Mode from The Incredibles. She is hilarious, has a wonderful imagination, and has the ability to make extraordinary innovative creations. I wish she was my aunt or something.
