“This one’s about a relationship that lives in contradiction,” notes lead singer Jacob. “There’s love there, but also insecurity, fear, and a sense of emotional imbalance.”

“I used to rent a tiny 5×5 room in Brooklyn for $200 a month,” recounts lead singer, Jacob Wunderlich. “It was basically a closet, but it became my creative refuge. I wrote a ton of songs there. That little room was my ‘place I go.’ I hope everyone has somewhere like that, a space where they can find peace.”

The song explores what it means to see life clearly after years of distortion, what is described as a “kaleidoscope” warping everything, but himself.

"A confessional meditation on love, faith, and quiet rejection, this song kneels at the altar of devotion only to rise wounded,” shares lead singer, Jacob Wunderlich.

“The song is a reflection on faith and futility,” says frontman Jacob Wunderlich. “It’s like a hymn for people who still want to believe in something, even after the lights have gone out.”
