Brittaney Delsarté describes herself as a Millennial Renaissance Woman. You name it, she’s done it. She got her MFA from the Actor’s Studio Drama School where she is trained in method acting, the Stanislavsky System, the Alexander technique, Shakespeare Scansion, and the Linklater Method. She took vocal classes and mastered singing under Jonathan Estabrooks. She’s been in shows like The Color Purple: A Musical About Love, Black Panther Love, and In Mysterious Ways. She’s a trained dancer and a journalist. She has been an Associate Producer at CNN, HLN, and a television/radio producer for OnPoint! with Cynthia Hardy. In 2014, she produced, directed, edited her first full-length documentary for the National Urban League titled, Master League: The Columbia Urban League.

“I’ve wanted to live a life rooted in artistry for as long as I remember,” Says Brittaney. “I’ve  wanted to sing, act, play instruments, produce original visual projects, write songs, be on Broadway, perform at The Grammys, everything!” Seeing as her cousin is Toni Braxton and her Grandfather is Larry Lebby, it was only a matter of time before Brittaney released music of her own.

Her latest EP, Call Me Blossom, contains 5 songs inspired by her Southern charm, 90’s childhood, her experiences as a multi-hyphenate millennial, & her whimsical, vulnerable poetry. Sounds drift between R&B, hip-hop, jazz, subterranean trap, airy dance-pop, and contemporary musical theatre ballad. She brings her passion and enthusiasm with the chordal finesse of live instruments, finely wrought melodies; the hard-edged rhythmic pulsation, vocal panache, and above all a glowing sound canvas. Each song takes us into the heart and soul of Brittaney. It’s hard not to. Her Awesome Blossom personality beams through the music.

Brittaney believes she is a vessel, using her skills and gifts as a platform to enable: Youth Empowerment and Education, Civic Engagement and Leadership Empowerment, and Civil Rights and Racial Justice Empowerment. She is an artist that will inspire those who follow her. She is a gifted woman and one to watch out for.
