It’s believed that wearing your birthstone can bring good fortune, enhance your luck, and illuminate your aura. Whether you plan to keep your crystals at home or wear them as part of your jewelry, here are the stones you should look out for according to your birth month.

    January: Garnet

Garnets tend to have a dark red appearance and are best known for their protective energy. These stones were incredibly popular during the Roman Empire, and even Aztec warriors wore them as a form of protection.

    February: Amethyst

The purple and violet toned Amethyst are probably one of the most recognized crystals in the world. It’s incredibly powerful and helps individuals to remain wise whilst navigating through life.

    March: Aquamarine

The aquamarine crystal often appears in shades of light blue and cyan. It’s commonly found in the regions of Brazil or Sri Lanka and is said to bring about feelings of serenity.

    April: Quartz

Clear quartz is typically used to manifest strength and power, as it is one of the hardest minerals on the Mohs hardness scale.

    May: Emerald

Other than enhancing feelings of hope, the green emerald has many energetic uses. If you’re interested in learning all about this stone, check out Crystal Viden.

    June: Alexandrite

Alexandrite typically shines with a translucent yellow or greenish hue. It is commonly used to manifest feelings of love, whether this is love towards others or self-love.

    July: Ruby

The iconic red ruby has been highly esteemed in society for centuries now. Its color is so similar to the color of blood that many believe it is a powerful stone for enhancing vitality.

    August: Peridot

The peridot is said to represent and manifest beauty with its slight yellowish green color. However, wear this stone with care as it’s easily damaged and requires a lot of care.

    September: Sapphire

Another iconic gem is the sapphire. This deep blue crystal is associated with speaking the truth and encouraging honesty. It can also help you make better decisions in life.

    October: Tourmaline

For those born in the month of October, tourmaline brings about a fantastic healing aura. This multi-coloured stone can range from hues of pink to green and looks great in jewellery.

    November: Citrine

Citrine is a beautiful and rare variation of quartz that sports a dark yellow color. These crystals are believed to radiate joy, increase positivity, and channel the radiance of the sun.

    December: Turquoise

Finally, for those born in December, the blue turquoise makes a great pairing. This stone is said to attract friendships very easily. It’s commonly found in Iran, China, and Egypt.

The natural energy found in your birthstone can help you reconnect with your inner self, ease feelings of anxiety, boost your morale, and strengthen relationships. Like most crystals, your birthstone can provide healing properties and release any blockages. They also make perfect gifts so make sure to do your research and fit the perfect stone for your loved one.
