Future Radio’s latest single “Whatever I Want To” is an energetic pop-punk anthem that celebrates the importance of embracing individuality and living life to the fullest. The fast-paced and catchy song, which stays true to the pop-punk canon, is similar to the popular acts Paramore and State Champs.

The melodic chorus, which features the title of the song, is sure to have people singing along, while the catchy guitar solo adds to the overall dynamic feel of the track.

Frontman Johnny believes that “Whatever I Want To” serves as a fitting motto for the entire album, as it emphasizes personal responsibility and decision-making. According to Johnny, “we are all responsible for our own life choices and that nobody else can or should make these choices for us”. The band also loves performing the song live, as it always gets the crowd going.

Visual designer and guitarist Drikus Roets agrees that the song is a perfect way to finish off the band’s second album, which they refer to as Season 2. In the music video, Johnny’s search for identity comes to a dramatic conclusion, but not without the help of his new friend.

With a growing social media following and increasingly popular live shows, Future Radio’s talent and popularity continue to soar. Their extensive 3-month release campaign, which includes a pre-release campaign, music video, lyric video, acoustic, and live version of “Whatever I Want To“, ensures that the song reaches its full potential. Don’t miss out on this exciting and inspiring track from one of South Africa’s most promising up-and-coming bands.
