Nashville rock duo Her Leather Jacket has just released their latest track, “Famous,” from their upcoming album, The House That Chaos Built, out in July.

This piece is something different for the band, showing real, raw emotions and the difficulties faced when trying to be successful in the music industry. Lead singer Manny Blu touches on the stress and pressure of not wanting to let your family down and the doubt that comes with trying to make it as a musician. The song features intimate verses that allow the audience to really hear the lyrics and an explosive and passionate chorus that feels like a breakthrough of emotion. Hit play and get ready to be in your feels.

“It’s an introspective song and, in particular for Manny, draws on his experiences of being in Nashville and being taken seriously as an artist. Johnny and Aaron are killer songwriters to work with, and while the song is definitely personal, the message has a relatable theme to anyone trying to make it.” – Her Leather Jacket

HLJ is an up-and-coming rock band that has already started to make its mark on the industry with help from constant collaborator and producer Aaron Gillespie (of Underoath and The Almost fame). The duo, featuring lead singer Manny Blu and drummer Wes Snyder, combines pop-punk, rock, and alternative music to create their unique and different sound. “Famous” is a track that highlights the pair’s deep love and passion for music while showcasing their impressive musical abilities. This is a perfect track to scream in the car on repeat when you’re going through a rough patch in your life, and you won’t want to miss it.
