Kawanna Lewis is a certified trainer focused on empowering and informing clients to reach their fitness goals through functional techniques and affirmations. She is the founder of Trap BootcampTM, which shifts the stigma of trap into a positive one that transforms, regenerates and actively progresses each individual into their best self.

    What are your success habits?

I’ve learned that every day you must create a successful routine that includes, educating yourself, Exercising, spending time in silence away from technology, and forest bathing to enrich your life for success.

How did you find your definition of success? What is it?

Over time I have learned that my idea of success constantly changes.  At one time I just wanted to be able to pay my bills on time and save some money. I now realize that my definition of success is being able to spend quality time with family and create generational wealth and leave a legacy for my family to remember.

How did the idea for your business come about?

After some time, training at a high-end gym in Woodland Hills and Granada Hills, I began to realize the stubborn gap that was present between people and their desire to live better. This developed my passion to create a program that would affect a mass amount of people, like you, to do just that.

I was inspired to help people understand the true gift of moving their bodies and that there was more to working out than “being snatched.”

My mission was to guide individuals on a journey tailored to the goals that would position them to transform their lives with a renewed mind and expect an overflow of change that would positively impact the lives of others around them from the inside out.

Do you believe there is some sort of pattern or formula to becoming a successful Entrepreneur?

I am under the belief that entrepreneurs are born.  You truly have to be willing to take a risk and fail.  The pattern of recovery is what makes a great entrepreneur.  Business is full of plenty of ups and downs. If you follow patterns of the season and other flows of business, it will be easier to understand how to become a successful entrepreneur.

What do you do on a daily basis to grow as an entrepreneur?

I was given the greatest advice from a friend named Gizzle.  She told me to take a shot of REMY every morning.

    Read

    Exercise

    Meditate

    Yoga Stretches

How did you come up with the name for your company?

My coworker, Jeremy from back in the day.  Told me that I should start a Bootcamp with all trap music.  But not knowing much about Trap music, I searched for a deeper meaning that would not limit my ability to take this worldwide.

If you were to write an autobiography, what would the title be?

I have written a book, somewhat about my life. But I guess it’s not a full autobiography, it’s called the “Price of Fame: Vlogs from the Crutch Groove Tour. My Full Autobiography would be called ‘Oracle:Before the Matrix’

If you could be a superhero, what would your superpower be and your superhero name?

My superhero name would be Angeles Falls, I would have the power of telekinesis and mind reading. I’d help people find the best in themselves or else. lol

What would be a good theme song for your life?

A great them song for my life would be, “We Fall Down, But we get Up” Donnie McClurkin

If you could ask your future self one question, what would it be?

Was it really worth all those sleepless nights alone?

What’s your most expensive piece of clothing?

Unfortunately, I have developed a designer bag and Sneaker fetish so the most expensive thing would be hanging on my shoulder or across my body, or on my feet.

If you were talking to a younger version of you, what advice would you give yourself?

Watch out for the cute ones, they are the most trouble and you have some much more to offer the world besides music!
