We have been familiar with the fermentation process of sugar-containing grains and fruits for almost 10 thousand years. But the creation of vodka was the masterpiece of fermentation and distillation processes. Vodka is a distilled spirit produced from sugar-based cereal grains like rye, wheat, corn, etc. In the United States, potato vodka is also very popular.

Vodka can be mixed with a variety of drinks and flavors because it lacks a distinct taste, flavor, or color of its own. You can make thousands of combinations with vodka, and all of these are simple and refreshing. These are some outstanding cocktails that will refresh you and give you some relief this summer.

While your guests savor the variety of vodka-infused creations, don’t forget those who prefer non-alcoholic options; a selection of artfully crafted mocktails can ensure everyone enjoys a refreshing taste of summer

    Sea Breeze

This contains vodka with cranberry and grapefruit juice. Sea Breeze has been the most popular vodka cocktail since the 80s, and it is considered an IBA Official Cocktail. If pineapple juice replaces the grapefruit juice, then it becomes a Bay Breeze. Other similar variations are Cape Codder and Salty Dog. Grapefruit juice is absent in a Cape Codder, and cranberry juice is absent in a Salty Dog.

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 fluid ounces vodka
    • 4 fluid ounces cranberry juice
    • 1 fluid ounce grapefruit juice
    • 1 1/2 cups ice cubes
    • 1 lime wedge

    How to make

    • Fill the highball glass with ice cubes.
    • Pour vodka, cranberry juice, and grapefruit juice and stir well with a stir straw.
    • Garnish with a lime wedge, and the Sea Breeze is ready.

    • 1 ounce of sugar syrup
    • 1 cup crushed ice

    • Mix vodka, crushed ice, lime juice, and sugar syrup in a glass and shake vigorously with a bar shaker.
    • Pour it in the sugar-rimmed martini glass and garnish with a lemon wheel.

You can customize all these recipes as per your taste and availability of ingredients. Many bartenders and drink enthusiasts do several experiments and enjoy the outcomes every time. Vodka mixes with each flavor perfectly. Whiskey is also a famous spirit, just like vodka, but it’s aged for several years. Dimple Pinch and Johnny Walker are some of the most popular whiskey brands. A vodka cocktail along with whiskey is a wonderful combination. Avoid drinking them on an empty stomach, and get ready to fight the summer with these wonderful cocktails.
