Miss Maine USA, Juliana Morehouse, will make history as the first married woman to compete
    in Miss USA this fall.

The pageant queen tied the knot with longtime beau, Taylor Reed Locklear, on April 29, 2023 in front of 350 guests.

The ceremony took place at the historic St. Philip’s Church in Charleston, South Carolina, where the couple was engaged a year earlier.

The bride chose Israeli designer Pnina Tornai (known from television’s “Say Yes to the Dress” and “Sex and the City” and worn by such celebrities as Jennifer Garner, Ashanti, Teresa Giudice) to create her custom wedding gown.

Inspired by her mother (a former Miss North Carolina USA), Morehouse has wanted to compete in pageants since she was seven years old. So, it was only fitting that her passion be incorporated into the wedding reception. Guests danced all night wearing light-up crowns and sashes with phrases like “Maine-ly Here to Party.”
