ROMES – SONIC TRASH & DISSOLVER Remix | Electro-Rock Duo

Canadian electro-rock duo ROMES is currently proving that you don’t need a massive promo machine to conquer a continent. As their debut European headlining tour picks up speed—with several dates already sold out—brothers Jacob and Nicolas Bitove are witnessing the power of a grassroots, viral explosion in real time.

From Basement Experiment to Global Streams

The ROMES success story is a textbook example of organic growth. Their debut album, SONIC TRASH (released independently on November 14, 2025), has surpassed 1.5 million streams through pure word-of-mouth.

“It started a couple of years ago in our basement studio,” the brothers explain. “We were just integrating gear and trying to come up with crazy sounds.”

That experimental spirit led to an infectious blend of 90s-inspired industrial, electro, and punk—a sound that caught the attention of major sync supervisors. Before they ever set foot on a European stage, their music was already the soundtrack to:

    • TV Hits: The Sex Lives of College Girls, CSI: Vegas, and Control Z.
    • Gaming Giants: Madden and Call of Duty: Black Ops.
    • Sports & Style: Commercials for the NBA, MLB Playoffs, and Abercrombie & Fitch.

    The “DISSOLVER” Remix: Modern Bloghouse

Their latest single, “DISSOLVER,” just received a high-octane remix from Detroit underground artist WIRE ONE. The collaboration was born on Instagram, fueled by a mutual obsession with early-2000s electro.

“He’s putting a modern twist on the whole bloghouse electro sound,” says the band. “His drum production is insane—they smash you right in the face.” Wire One transforms the industrial grit of the original into a club-ready banger that bridges the gap between the underground and the main stage.

Coming to America: Supporting Des Rocs

The momentum from Europe is about to cross the Atlantic. ROMES has officially announced their first-ever U.S. tour, supporting NYC’s Des Rocs. Hand-picked by Danny Rocco himself, the duo is ready to bring their high-energy, “big beat” performance to American audiences.

“Our show combines elements of industrial, punk, and electro—all the best stuff we grew up on,” the band says. Having already shared stages with The Strokes and The Warning, ROMES is well-positioned to be 2026’s most explosive independent export.
