Sirenety is a singer-songwriter based in London. ‘Daisies’ follows on from debut EP, ‘Matsuko’ and single ‘Blue Lights’. ‘Daisies’ maintains the singer-songwriter feel and soft, emotional vocals in all of Sirenety’s work but moves more into the darkwave/ gothic genre. It is inspired by horror movies, and femme fatale stories and imagery, particularly the Japanese horror movie Audition (1999), which explores female trauma, love and sadism.
