As the summer fervor escalates, so does the yearning for fresh tunes that embody the spirit of the season.

Enter The Dirty Shirts, an alternative rock band that recently unleashed their latest single, “Gin & Roses,” a contagious track that is a must-add to your summer anthem playlist. Brimming with unfiltered vocals, infectious guitar riffs, and an irresistible chorus, The Dirty Shirts skillfully intertwine the allure of attraction and the intensity of passion, drawing a captivating parallel to the sweltering heat of summertime. This addictive song encapsulates the overwhelming rush of infatuation, delivering a sonic, yet honest experience that resonates not only with the scorching fervor of the season itself but also with anyone who has felt such an intense infatuation.

“With ‘Gin & Roses’ there’s a lot of the elements that people might be familiar with from our previous songs, but packaged in a new way that we’re incredibly excited about. At its core, the song is about love, and the different ways it makes us feel, and I thought that was a great vehicle for a summer song. I have a tendency to lean towards the moodier side of the spectrum, and not that it isn’t there on this song, but I wanted something that people would roll their windows down and turn up as loud as they could stand it on the way to the lake or by the pool this summer.” – Nick Santa Maria

“Gin & Roses” was produced by Jeff Saenz, recognized for his work with acclaimed artists such as Leon Bridges, Reverend Horton Heat, and Nikki Lane. Engineered by Joel Raif and recorded at Modern Electric Sound Recorders in Dallas, Texas. Making their debut in 2021, The Dirty Shirts made a powerful impression when they showcased at the esteemed Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Soon after, in 2022, they released their highly-anticipated first full-length album, The Get Up From The Get Go. The band’s unique musical style was evident as their singles “Detonator” and “Please Me (feat. Remy Reilly)” received national radio airplay, which captivated audiences and left a lasting impression. Since then, The Dirty Shirts have exhibited an unwavering determination to make a permanent mark on the rock music scene.
