The creative team is substantial. Benj Pasek and Justin Paul return as the musical’s songwriters, while Tim Federle wrote the book. Two-time Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw directs and choreographs, with Alex Lacamoire handling music supervision and orchestrations.
The production is not simply reproducing the movie frame by frame. According to the official production, it contains all of the songs from the film alongside brand-new material written by Pasek and Paul.
The Greatest Showman Is Heading to London’s West End
The next act is now confirmed. Following its Bristol run, The Greatest Showman will move to London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane in spring 2027.
Tompsett and Barks will continue as Barnum and Charity, while Joyce, van den Bosch and Parris are also confirmed for the London cast. Further casting is still to be announced.
Theatre Royal Drury Lane gives the production a considerably larger West End platform. It also feels like a natural home for material that has always depended on scale: deep red curtains, bodies in motion, bright pools of stage light and choruses designed to fill a room.
Tickets have not yet gone on general sale. The production says ticket information will arrive later in autumn 2026, while the complete performance schedule is also still to be announced.
