Nashville based Alternative Pop artist Alexes Hardt recently released her new single Joke.

“I would love for fans to listen to this song and feel empowered,” Alexes explains. “Although its about a toxic relationship, it’s more about coming out of denial and accepting the relationship for what it is. It’s about taking your power back.”

Nashville hasn’t heard an artist quite like Alexes Hardt. The twenty-six year old Florida native has written bits and pieces of lyrics ever since she was a child. Drawing influences from the direction of modern hits, her production favors the trap drums that have populated rap music but the electronic sounds that have given posters edge to their latest works.
