Mikki Zip’s roots are planted in Syracuse, NY, but Nashville, TN, became home in 2013, just a couple of weeks before she turned 14. From the moment she hit town, she began performing as a singer-songwriter across Music City at fairs, festivals, bars, and BBQ joints. Her passion for the stage led her to earn a BFA in performing arts, studying in both Los Angeles and New York City. After graduating in 2020, Zip returned to Nashville to continue her journey as a recording artist.
Mikki’s songwriting is rooted in the storytelling traditions of classic country, blended with a dash of rock ‘n’ roll and today’s modern edge. Her live shows, whether full band or acoustic, are a dynamic mix of high-energy anthems that get you on your feet, heartfelt ballads that tug at the heartstrings, and everything in between. In 2024, Mikki released her debut EP, Somethin’ To Write About, marking her breakout career in country music.
