What first got you into music?

I grew up in a super musical family. My dad was in a band my whole life, so music was always around, and that really inspired me to want a creative career too. When I was eight, my grandparents gifted me a guitar, and I totally fell in love with it. That’s when everything kind of clicked for me.

Is there a city or venue that holds special significance to you, and can you share a memorable experience from there?

– Definitely New York. I’m originally from there but live in LA now, and every time I go back, it just feels special. The energy is unmatched, the shows are always packed and electric — you can really feel the love in the room. My New York fans are honestly the sweetest and most supportive, and the whole experience is just always such a good time.

What’s the funniest thing that’s ever happened at one of your shows?

– I definitely get so into performing that I forget my own lyrics sometimes. At my last NYC show at Mercury Lounge, this amazing fan named Jade gave me these star-shaped glasses that say “When It’s Over” on them — which is one of my favorite songs I’ve written. The glasses matched my vibe perfectly, and somehow, I didn’t forget the words that night. I think the glasses worked some kind of magic.

If you could go open a show for any artist, who would it be?

FINNEAS. He’s my biggest inspiration when it comes to making music, so if I ever had the chance to open for him, I honestly don’t know if I’d even be able to perform — I’d be way too excited. It would be a full-circle, dream-come-true moment.

What is next for you?

I am getting ready to release my debut album this year and I couldn’t be more excited. “LYING WITH THE ENEMY” is the 4th single off of the project. This project is my favorite thing I’ve ever made and I cannot wait for it to be yours.

If you were a tree, what kind would you be and why?

Definitely a palm tree. No matter what city I’m in I am always drawn to them.

If you had a time machine, would you travel to the future or back to the past?

I think I’d want to travel to the 80s and 90s. I was born in 2004 and grew up listening to a bunch of 80s music. Aerosmith, Poison, Jeff Buckley, The Police, the list goes on. I’d give anything to go to one of those concerts back then.

As a kid, were you ever frightened of a monster under the bed or in the cupboard?

Yes I literally was afraid of everything as a kid. I couldn’t go anywhere at night without a nightlight or a flashlight.

If you could have any superhero power, what would it be and why?

I’d want to be invincible because no matter what I do I always somehow get hurt. I am super clumsy.

Tell us your best joke.

Why don’t skeletons fight each other?

Because they don’t have the guts.

Rob released his most anticipated and emotionally charged single to date, “LYING WITH THE ENEMY,” on Friday, May 30th. Marking the fourth single from his forthcoming debut album SIGNAL FADES, this focus track is already being hailed as a defining moment in his artistic evolution.

Eberle calls this his proudest work yet — and for good reason. “LYING WITH THE ENEMY” is a searing anthem born from the emotional fallout of a long-distance relationship. The track captures the bitter, dizzying spiral that follows when an ex unexpectedly reenters your world, acting like nothing ever happened. Torn between closure and collapse, the song paints a vivid picture of betrayal wrapped in temptation — the kind of emotional tension that burns long after the final goodbye.

Built on a dark, cinematic soundscape of moody synths, crashing guitars, and an explosive vocal performance, the track is tailor-made for late-night drives and heartbreak-fueled outbursts. Eberle’s raw lyrics and haunting delivery make “LYING WITH THE ENEMY” not just a song, but a scream into the void — one that resonates deeply with anyone who’s ever been caught between the past and the person they’re trying to become.

“This is the song I’ve waited my whole life to release,” says Eberle. “It’s the most honest I’ve ever been, and I hope it gives people permission to feel everything they’ve been holding back.”
