Kicking off the New Year, multi-platinum award winning singer/songwriter, Josh Mirenda, releases “Til The Neon’s Gone,” a catchy uptempo ode to the staying power of true love. Written by Mirenda, Jon Nite and Ashley Gorley and produced by Mirenda, this release marks the first for Mirenda since signing to Average Joes Entertainment.

““Neon is probably one of, if not my favorite song I have written,” commented Mirenda. “It’s just a different way of telling the one you love that you ain’t going anywhere and you are in it forever.”

An accomplished songwriter, Mirenda was awarded ASCAP’s coveted “Song of the Year” for writing Dierks Bentley’s #1 hit “Somewhere on a Beach.” He has also written two #1 chart toppers for Jason Aldean – “Girl Like You,” and “They Don’t Know.”

“I’ll keep you swaying till last dance
You can be my Mary Jane
The way your eyes they burn right thru me
With my hands around your waist
All the ones that came before me
They weren’t strong enough to stay
    ‘Cause the truth about cowboys
Is the good ones don’t all ride away
And I’m gonna love you till the neon’s gone
Till there’s no whiskey left in Honky Tonks
Till there ain’t dirt roads in a country song
    And steel guitars don’t play
And when that crowd forgets that we’re around
And you feel like those lights ain’t shinin’ down
Well I’ll still be here I’ll still be hanging on
Cause I’m gonna love you till the Neon’s Gone…”
