“I think it’s fitting that the final 2 songs we released were the first track “Silhouettes” and the last track “Honolulu”. It’s fitting because “Silhouettes” is about the aftermath of my first relationship from my perspective, while “Honolulu” is a song I wrote for her for her birthday. So I find it interesting that the 2 songs that bookend this album really highlight the parity between the good times and the bad times.”
